Chief of Defence Staff Commendation

CDS Commendation The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Commendation is awarded by the Chief of the Defence Staff to recognize deeds or activities beyond the demand of normal duty.

MWO T.K. Neill – 2 RCHA – “For exceptional leadership, dedication and moral courage as Camp Services CSM and Contingent Sergeant-Major at Kandahar air field in Afghanistan, Sep 09 to Nov 10 ”
MWO J.P.J.C. Senecal – 2010 – From October 2010 to October 2011, Master Warrant Officer Senecal has excellently fulfilled Sergeant-Major functions for the Joint Operations Centre for the Canadian Contingent Headquarters, Regional Command (South) in Kandahar. In this multinational environment, it was his positive attitude towards the members of the coalition that allowed him to get timely and rigorous support to Forces Headquarters. The contribution of Master Warrant Officer Senecal has been essential for the overall coordination of activities and has further enhanced the reputation of the Canadian Forces.
